Separate browser records, deliberate copies
In this browser
- Named projects and their source snapshots
- Separate ownership binder
- Optional saved offers and learning preferences
Save/delete/export controls act on their own store.
← Public source packets
No project or binder upload
→ Only a deliberately chosen export or share snapshot
A share recipient can read what you explicitly include. Opening a shared handoff does not read or replace your stored projects. Ordinary host request logs remain a separate boundary.
Original data-flow explanation. This diagram is not a view of your browser records and reads no storage. Exact storage keys and the separate consent/owner-exclusion controls are documented below.
Browser preferences
Clicking the theme control can save an optional light/dark preference under the browser-local key workshop:theme. Choosing System removes it. Reading pages does not create that saved preference. It is not sent to this site.
Optional comparison save
The comparison workspace saves configuration IDs, selected rows and the difference-view preference only when you press Save. This uses workshop:compare in this browser. Opening a shared link does not overwrite it. Restore and Delete saved selection are explicit actions; the saved selection is not sent to this site.
Optional named projects
Explicit Save/Create/Import actions store project names, exact equipment IDs, quantities, notes, source snapshots, space-layout and ownership-cost scenarios and notes under workshop:projects in this browser. They are not sent to the site or analytics. Opening a page does not save projects. Delete controls remove this project store; JSON export/import are explicit local actions. Clearing browser storage can remove local projects.
Optional learning progress
Practice answers remain in memory unless you explicitly enable Save progress. The separate workshop:learning-progress key stores task IDs and whether your last reasoning matched the worked explanation. It contains no project or shopping data. Reset removes only that practice progress; no qualification or operating authorization is awarded.
Optional saved offers and visit checks
The separate workshop:saved-offers key stores only your explicitly saved exact-offer references, dated source snapshots, optional native-currency thresholds and a per-visit-check preference. Checks start only after you enable them and apply while visiting the saved-offers page; no background or email monitoring exists. Public source packets are fetched without sending your project notes or threshold values. Reset/delete controls affect this store only.
Deliberate project handoffs
Print/export/share previews omit private project names, tasks, free notes, custom manual item names and layouts by default. Separate controls deliberately include them. Share links contain only the previewed snapshot in the URL fragment; recipients can read what you include. Opening a shared snapshot does not save it, read local projects or fetch private project data. No uploaded document is included by these tools.
Optional private ownership binder
The separate workshop:ownership key holds explicitly saved exact equipment references, owner manual links, receipt/archive notes and maintenance intervals. It is not uploaded, measured or included in handoff links. Binder JSON exports contain private records; back them up in an owner-controlled location. Imports require backup confirmation, add unverified copies and do not overwrite projects. No PDF or receipt attachment is accepted. Delete controls remove only binder data.
Requests and external links
The separate first-party aggregate journey collector is disabled. Optional reporting controls and owner exclusion use the separate workshop:measurement key only after an explicit preference save; no event is sent without enabled collection and consent. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track override consent for that first-party counter. These controls do not configure Google Tag Manager. Public research pages load the owner-configured Google Tag Manager container GTM-TK939HQK. Tags published in that container can measure visits and browser/device/referrer information and may use cookies. Google receives the requests made by those tags. The site tools do not add stored project names, private notes, receipt records, search terms or shared plan snapshots to the Google data layer. Named-project, ownership-binder, saved-offer, handoff, search, comparison and measurement-control pages do not load this container. No remote fonts or embedded third-party players are added by this installation. The hosting server may retain ordinary request logs. Marked approved affiliate links can include an intentionally public referral identifier; no project names, notes or other private tool data are attached. Following an external merchant/source link makes a request to that website under its own privacy practices.
Voluntary owner experiences
The owner-experience pilot has no open intake until an actual abuse/deletion contact exists. Operator intake retains private consent/contact/withdrawal proof separately from the explicit public summary. Human review precedes catalog publication. No receipt/document/photo attachment is accepted; permitted original photo links remain on external hosts. Withdrawal removes live summaries/links through checked publication, then private contact/content can be purged; minimal historical evidence/release backups have a separate operator retention policy.
Future features
Future accounts or delivery features will explain their data use if introduced. Google Tag Manager and the separately disabled first-party counter are described above.
